Mentorship Programme

Guiding Learners toward confidence, stability, and meaningful growth.

Purpose

To offer a structured relationship that promotes self-belief, emotional regulation, and positive life choices.

Mentors act as reliable role models, bridging the gap between education, home, and the wider community.

✔ Learners struggling with attendance, anxiety, or school avoidance
✔ Young people facing SEMH challenges or social isolation
✔ Those transitioning between settings or seeking stability
✔ Learners needing consistent encouragement and direction

What the Mentorship Programme Provides

At The AC Group, we recognise that progress isn’t only academic — it’s emotional, social, and personal.

Our Mentorship Programme provides one-to-one guidance for children and young people who need consistent, trusted adult support alongside their learning journey.

Mentors help learners to rebuild trust, develop resilience, and recognise their own potential — working closely with families, schools, and local authorities to ensure steady, measurable progress.

How it works

Each mentoring plan is personalised around the learner's needs, strengths and situation.
Sessions may take place in school, at home, or within approved community venues.
Our mentors follow structured frameworks that align with safeguarding and local authority guidance.

Every mentoring relationship helps learners build the tools they need to thrive long-term:

✔Self-awareness and emotional regulation
✔Confidence and communication
✔Resilience through setbacks
✔Positive coping strategies
✔A sense of belonging and purpose
